"What is the Fuse Machine and is it permanent?"
The Fuse Machine is a crafting mechanic that unlocks after your first Rebirth. Once unlocked, it stays permanently — every Rebirth after the first keeps it.
It works by combining one specific plant type with one specific brainrot type to create a new, higher-value fusion brainrot that earns more per second than either component alone.
The most valuable fusion right now is Los Mr. Carrotitos — created by combining the Mr. Carrot plant with Los Tralaleritos brainrot. The result earns $31,000 per second at base weight with no mutations applied.
The fusion doesn't consume any Sheckles directly, but it does require you to have both components available. Mr. Carrot is a Mythical-tier plant, and Los Tralaleritos is obtained by defeating it in game. Getting both takes time, but the income reward is the highest in the game outside of admin events.
One thing players miss: the Fuse Machine only unlocks ONE fusion per use — you have to farm replacement components if you want to fuse again after.

135x. Voidtouched is the highest single-source standard mutation in the current game. It comes from Black Hole weather events.
It's also one of two components needed for Abyssal (240x) — if you have Voidtouched on a crop and a Solar Eclipse event is active at the same time, Eclipsed can form on that same crop and the two fuse into Abyssal automatically.
If you're farming specifically for Voidtouched, watch the weather timer. Black Hole events are rare but not unpredictable. Have your S-tier seeds planted before the event starts.
