About GardenCalc

I started playing Grow a Garden the way most people do — clicking around, planting whatever seeds looked cool, selling crops without really understanding what I was looking at.

I remember the first time I harvested a Shocked Carrot. It glowed, it crackled, the number in the corner was way bigger than usual. I had no idea what it was worth. I sold it for about 40 million Sheckles because that sounded like a lot at the time. A guy in the trading hub offered me a Godly Sprinkler for it ten minutes later. I'd been completely ripped off.

That's when I started keeping a spreadsheet.

I tracked mutations, base values, weight multipliers. I started timing Blood Moon events with my phone's stopwatch. I wrote down shop rotation patterns. After a few weeks I had enough data that my farming runs were way more consistent — I wasn't lucky more often, I just stopped making dumb, avoidable mistakes.

A few friends asked me to share the spreadsheet. Then their friends asked. Eventually someone suggested I just put it online so people could use it directly instead of downloading a messy Google Sheet.

That's how this site started.

What This Site Actually Is

GrowYourGardenCalculator.com is a free utility site for Grow a Garden players who want to stop guessing. The Plant Value Calculator, the Trade Analysis tool, the Live Stock Tracker — these all came directly from tools I was already using myself, just packaged in a way that doesn't require anyone to understand spreadsheet formulas.

The mutation multipliers in the database come from thousands of harvests tracked by me and a small group of players I've been farming with since early 2024. When a game update changes values, we test it, verify it, and update the site. I don't publish numbers I haven't confirmed.

Who Runs This

My name is on the Contact page if you want to reach out. I'm not affiliated with Roblox Corporation, and this site has no official connection to the Grow a Garden game developers. It's fan-made, community-driven, and completely free to use.

I keep it free because I genuinely find this game interesting, and because the tools that helped me most were always free ones someone just decided to build and share.

If the growagardencalculator saves you from one bad trade, it's done its job.
